SESSION: World of Work and Job Search: Attitude, Flexibility and
Transformation

PRESENTER: Linsey Levine

We're honored to have resident WNO career coach and counselor Linsey Levine
as our June presenter. For over four years, she's counseled WNO members who
are experiencing career pain, career limbo, career depression and career
confusion. She knows us well, and in June she'll share her perceptions and
advice.

feet) through the constant changes - whether you're a job seeker, a business

Linsey Levine is a catalyst with a passion for helping people create

move into their career goals. As a New York State licensed counselor and

counseling and coaching, and also conducts group workshops. Her resume

As a facilitator of structured networking events for ExecuNet, a nationwide
career management and education group, Linsey teaches and enables more

business professionals - for career transition and for life. Linsey
facilitates monthly meetings in Parsippany NJ, and the White Plains area of
Westchester, NY.

As a mid-life career changer herself, she identifies with what it felt like
to be confused and stuck. She returned to graduate school for a Masters
Degree in Career Development, and then became Adjunct Faculty in the Career
Development Masters Program at The College of New Rochelle, where she
developed curriculum and supervised the internship program. Prior careers
included headhunting/recruiting for attorneys, editing for Addison Wesley
Publishing Company, bookstore management, and teaching elementary school.

Linsey earned her MS in Career Development from The College of New Rochelle
and BA in Education from Queens College. She is certified to administer the

Position Description:
 
* Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Engineering Manager shall partner with the Osteotech (Eatontown) management team to ensure the site's objectives for Safety, Quality, Delivery , and Cost are met.
* Prioritizes function to meet internal and external customer expectations.Overall product line responsibility for all product lines produced under the Eatontown site responsibility.
* Provides leadership, direction and guidance to team personnel in both technical and supervisory areas. Coordinates the design, development, implementation and optimization of manufacturing processes in a safe working environment. 
Position Responsibilities:
 
* Responsible for the design, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes including tooling, fixturing, quality components and capital equipment.
* Has project management responsibility for team projects and insures the adequacy of all project planning, tracking and reporting.
* Responsible for the investigation, justification and implementation of productivity increases and cost improvement programs through recommendation of product design changes, more efficient production methods and capital equipment purchases and developments.
* Works with the Company Management team on the prioritization of production floor problems. Determines and communicates root causes and implements solutions. Responsible for first pass yield metric.Serves as an interdepartmental liaison in problem investigation and solving and expedites the accurate and timely transfer of required information.
* Assists in the development and administration of the Team, Department and Company short and long range plans and programs, (e.g., expense budget, capital budget, floor plans, etc.) and in the implementation of new manufacturing concepts such as Cellular Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, Value Stream Mapping, time studies, etc.
* Works with Team personnel and the IT Department in determining the computer equipment and software needed to complete team assignments. Travel as required for company business transactions. Amount of travel could be extensive at times. Could include, but not limited to, visits to Memphis for meetings with Marketing, Sales and Research and Development, visits to other Medtronic facilities, visits to equipment suppliers and implant/instrument suppliers and training classes or seminars. Develops and implements individual training programs for existing and new Team personnel.
* This position works under the general direction of the Group Manager, Production & Systems receiving broad as well as specific operating policies and meeting defined goals and objectives with a large degree of decision making freedom.
* Utilize PFEMA and other risk management tools to perform process improvements Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Actions) assigned to functional area. May lead or work with teams to identify root cause, suggest and communicate solutions in response to corrective actions.
* Provides daily direction and leadership in order for team to accomplish the goals of the company. Ensures departments are properly staffed with qualified personnel to carry out the departmental goals. Interacts with Purchasing and Suppliers to ensure that the product specifications are clear, complete and understood. Interacts with the Quality, and R&D Engineering in Memphis to ensure compliance with the overall Product Requirements.
* Interacts with Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing in areas such as scrap and rework and evaluates their recommendations for corrective action.
* Interacts with Quality Engineering and Metrology, on the procurement of standard and specialty measuring and gauging equipment for use by in-house manufacturing, suppliers and Quality Control inspection. Our client provides next-generation investment management solutions to the
buy-side industry, including hedge funds, asset management firms and

The position of Senior Director of Sales is focused on driving new revenues by leveraging existing and developing new buy-side relationships
directly with Hedge Funds, Asset managers and channel partners in the
Prime Brokerage and HFA space. The director's goal is to understand
prospective clients' current front, middle and back office technology
and operational needs in order to determine the most effective way to
perform the required sales tasks. The director works to make both the
firm and its parent company indispensable to clients, creating new
revenue opportunities and cross-selling for additional revenues.

Responsibilities:
* ·         Partner with Relationship Management personnel that cover the existing PB and
FA relationships and bring in Product SMEs to help close business.

We're honored to have resident WNO career coach and counselor Linsey Levine
as our June presenter. For over four years, she's counseled WNO members who
are experiencing career pain, career limbo, career depression and career
confusion. She knows us well, and in June she'll share her perceptions and
